About Keira
Meet Kiera! This lovely 5-year-old Great Pyrenees mix is searching for her forever home. Currently weighing 60 lbs, she’s gradually gaining weight and loves her extra meals and treats. Kiera adores people and gets along great with dogs of all sizes. In her foster home, she peacefully coexists with a cat and shows a gentle demeanor around everyone she meets. Kiera has a mellow personality, often spending her days napping with her dog friends or curled up next to her foster mom. At night, she enjoys making the rounds for cuddles and affection. While she tries to engage the older dogs in her home for playtime, she would thrive with a younger, playful companion or be content as an only pet. Despite her timidness on a leash—likely a new experience for her—Kiera is potty trained and signals when she needs to go outside. She's adaptable and does well in the car, though she needs a little boost to hop in. Kiera is spayed, vaccinated, and ready for a loving home. She may not bark often, just an occasional sound when surprised, and she’s excellent during bath time. Kiera truly is a sweet, low-energy girl who deserves a loving home to shower her with affection. Out-of-state adopters must arrange their own transportation. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
