About Millie
Millie is a friendly and loving female Great Pyrenees, around 6 years old and weighing 90 pounds. Her journey to finding a forever home has been remarkable. Rescued from a life of neglect, she has shown nothing but sweetness and affection since coming to her foster home. At her foster home, Millie has adapted beautifully. She loves to cuddle, often seeking out affection and giving her signature "Pyr Paw" for more pets. She's gentle with children and warms up to everyone she meets. Millie enjoys playtime with other dogs, often rolling over and inviting them to join her. She's become quite the playful companion, chasing squirrels and participating in fun activities. This girl walks wonderfully on a leash and is very social, greeting everyone during her strolls. She is house trained and does well when left alone. Though she doesn't bark much, she joins in during playtime or when her canine friends are excited. Millie is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. Currently undergoing heartworm treatment, SPIN Rescue will provide necessary medication until her treatment concludes. While she has not been tested with cats, her gentle nature suggests she would get along well with them. Ideally, she'll find a home with another dog for companionship. Millie is in Garland, TX, and is ready to give all her love to a forever family. Your new best friend awaits!
