Yeti is a young male Great Pyrenees who found himself in a high-kill shelter in West Texas, but he’s now ready for a fresh start in Minneapolis, MN. He’s good with other dogs and people, though he may take some time to warm up to younger children’s quick movements. Yeti has excellent house manners; he is house trained and crate trained, with a calm demeanor aside from the occasional alert bark when someone arrives. Yeti enjoys outdoor adventures like long walks and exploring meadows. He’d thrive in a home with a large fenced yard. While he’s not particularly fond of toys, marrow bones are his favorite treat. He requires gentle, positive reinforcement training, especially to address his tendency to counter-surf, but with patience, he can improve on a leash too.
