Meet Brewer! Brewer is a lovable Great Pyrenees/Labrador mix teenager who traveled all the way from Arkansas to Minnesota searching for his forever family. This goofy boy is still growing into his long legs and doesnāt quite realize he isnāt a lap dog. Brewer is happiest when heās close to his people, often attempting to climb into your space or gently placing his signature Pyrenees paw on you to ask for a little extra affection. Brewer has done wonderfully with the resident dogs in his foster home, always hoping to convince the older dog to join him for a game of chase or wrestlingāsometimes successfully! He would thrive with another playful canine companion who can match his youthful energy. When outside, Brewer loves zooming around the yard, snacking on garden raspberries, and chewing on sticks, which he considers both entertainment and dental care. Brewer has made fantastic progress with leash walking, confidently strolling through busy spots like Duluthās Canal Park. He greets strangers like old friends, especially if they have treats! At home, Brewer has been great with potty training, needing supervision to help prevent marking as he settles in. When not exploring, youāll find him watching dinner prep or relaxing under the table during family game nights. Brewer happily naps in his kennel while his foster family is at work and sleeps there through the night. Heās generally quiet, though a little whine may escape if heās just been evicted from the couch.
