About Ella
Ella is a beautiful, loving three-year-old Great Pyrenees. Weighing in at about 98 pounds, she has a sweet temperament and gets along well with both dogs and cats. Although we haven't seen her interact with children, her gentle nature suggests she could do well with kids aged five and up, especially if they're respectful. At home, Ella is calm and easygoing. She enjoys her time outdoors, being let out every four to six hours but doesn’t always ask to go out herself. She's not a chewer, doesn't bark unless other dogs do, and prefers sleeping on the floor of your room instead of the furniture. Ella loves car rides and behaves wonderfully, laying down as you reach your destination, which she hopes is the dog park. Ella responds well to commands like 'sit' and 'come,' and walks nicely on a leash. She doesn't shed much and is perfectly fine with being brushed. This attentive girl seems eager to please, often putting her head in your lap or giving a gentle paw for attention. However, she does experience separation anxiety. For this reason, it's best that her new home has another friendly dog to help her adjust. Ella would thrive in a setting where her person is home most of the time, such as retirees or those working from home. Ella is already spayed and up-to-date on all her vaccinations, including treatment for heartworm, which will require a follow-up in a few months. Her adoption fee is waived, and she comes with a crate she's used to. You can meet Ella in White Bear Lake, MN. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
