Meet Balto! Balto is a delightful 5-month-old Husky with a charming personality that melts hearts. At around 25 pounds, he strikes a lovely balance between playful puppy and calm companion. Initially shy, Balto has adjusted wonderfully to his foster home in Santa Monica and is growing more confident every day. He eagerly greets everyone with gentle kisses. True to his Husky nature, he expresses excitement with his unique little howl! Balto has already developed excellent manners for such a young pup. He's comfortable in his crate, often putting himself to bed at night. Instead of chewing his toys, Balto carries them around, squeaks them, and even cuddles with them during nap time. He's smart too, as he's learned to sit—though he can be picky about treats, favoring high-value ones. He's playful but not hyper and gets along fantastically with other dogs. His gentle spirit suggests he would adapt well to respectful children and possibly cats as well.
