Before being rescued by Bubbles Dog Rescue, Nikolai faced hardships; he was found with a rope tied around his mouth, revealing the lack of care in his past. Thankfully, he's shown no aggression whatsoever towards humans or other dogs, which speaks volumes about his resilient spirit. Recently, Nikolai completed eight weeks of board and train to help build his confidence and explore the outdoors. While he can be skittish on walks—especially with sudden noises—he's learning to feel brave and seeks reassurance from his people. He thrives in a routine, making a home that fosters stability an ideal fit. Nikolai would do best with time at home and other canine companions to bond with. His quirks are truly endearing: he likes to carry his food to a cozy corner before eating, digs into blankets to create the perfect nest, and loves to snuggle like a lap dog. He gives gentle kisses and eagerly soaks up affection. Nikolai is house trained, knows sit and lie down, and has a delightful burst of energy in the morning. He’s eager to bond and is blossoming with every day that passes. Those who meet him can't help but fall in love—and he reciprocates that love wholeheartedly.
