Having previously lived outdoors, Raisin is still getting used to new people, animals, and environments, which makes her a bit shy. She tends to move away from unfamiliar situations, so a patient, dog-savvy adopter will be essential for helping her adjust at her own pace. Raisin benefits from being around other dogs, which helps her build confidence. Therefore, a home with a well-rounded resident dog could be ideal. Adopters should be ready to invest time in positive reinforcement training, as this will help Raisin learn important life skills like potty training and leash walking. Since she's a large puppy and a little fearful of the leash, having easy access to a secure backyard will be advantageous for her training.
