About Otter
Otter is a charming 16-week-old black male Labrador mix weighing around 20 pounds. He was rescued as an eight-week-old puppy and has since settled into his current home in Richmond, CA. His loving family has dedicated themselves to his training, with impressive results. Otter is already crate trained and can manage up to three hours alone during the day. He sleeps in his crate at night but will need to go out a couple of times to relieve himself. This puppy is eager to learn and knows commands like sit, down, come, and stay. Although he’s still mastering ‘drop it’ and ‘leave it,’ he's been keen in obedience classes and socialization sessions. Otter thrives on treat training, enjoys playing in the yard, chasing butterflies, and is a total snuggle bug on the couch. Otter does well with older children and is social with other dogs, although he’s full of puppy energy and might benefit from a dog that can keep up with him. He’s also fine around cats but should be supervised since he may chase them. Responsiveness to training will go a long way in helping him grow into a well-mannered companion. This healthy pup is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, ready for a loving home. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
