About Pig Pen

Meet Pig Pen, a charming young dog with a head like a cinderblock and a grin that could brighten anyone's day. Rescued under unusual circumstances, he literally jumped into the truck of our street team, eager to find a way off the streets and into a loving home. Currently residing at Corridor Rescue in Spring, TX, Pig Pen is a big, strong ball of affection. He weighs around 60 lbs and is on his way to gaining a few more pounds to reach his ideal weight. Though he arrived with some wounds on his ears, they are healing nicely, and he’s now a delightful, clean-smelling companion who enjoys his baths. Pig Pen thrives on interaction and would benefit from a household that’s both physically and mentally engaging. He may not have been formally tested with other dogs yet, but he was found in a small pack, suggesting he could get along well with canine companions. Cats are a mystery for him, as he is known to not get along with them at this time. With a strong potential for house training, Pig Pen has kept his kennel spotless, indicating he's well on his way to mastering indoor manners.
