Through heat, hunger, storms, and litter after litter of puppies, she somehow never lost her love for people. Even while struggling to survive herself, Lucy still chose kindness every single time. She is incredibly smart the kind of smart that makes you stop and stare in disbelief. Lucy watches everything, learns quickly, understands routines almost immediately, and seems to read human emotions better than most people do. She has the awareness of a dog who had to figure life out completely on her own. Despite everything she has been through, Lucy remains gentle, affectionate, and deeply connected to people. She is dog friendly, people friendly, and has a calm, soulful presence that makes everyone around her fall in love with her.
