About Ladybug
This could be the start of something paw-some. Ladybug is a stunning 4-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier/American Bully mix with a beautiful white and brindle short coat. After being rescued, Ladybug has been blossoming in her foster home where her sweet and affectionate nature truly shines. Always ready to make new friends, she never meets a stranger and is convinced she’s the perfect lap dog! Energetic, bouncy, and eager to snuggle, Ladybug adores attention and especially loves peanut butter treats—which also make her a quick learner. She’s both house and crate trained, rides comfortably in the car, and is working on her leash manners, though she can be a strong puller and would do best with a confident handler. Ladybug is also learning to run alongside a bike and, while she enjoys a sprint, she’s not a long-distance runner. Lively when her family comes home, she’s working on taming her jumpy greetings and is generally quiet, only voicing concern at valid reasons like the doorbell. Ladybug is curious and excitable when meeting other dogs—she’ll mirror their energy, so polite dog introductions are important. In her foster home, she gets along with dogs, though her interest varies based on their personalities. With cats, she’ll chase if they run but is content to ignore them if they stay calm. She would flourish in a home with someone strong and patient, ready to give her the guidance she needs. Fun fact: with her February 1st birthday, Ladybug is an Aquarius—known for their friendly and quirky personalities! They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
