Norma has been house trained, and she comes with full vaccinations to ensure she's as healthy as possible. Currently located in Brooklyn Center, MN, she's ready for her forever home. Meet Norma! Don't be fooled by her petite 12-pound frame—Norma carries a personality that's truly larger than life! She’s the little queen bee who could rule your heart (and your couch). A world-class cuddler, Norma loves nothing more than being close to her people, soaking up belly rubs, and snuggling beside you. While she can be a bit cautious with strangers, she warms up quickly and has been friendly with everyone so far. Norma enjoys zooming around the yard, inviting other dogs to chase her. She's just discovering the joy of stuffy toys and loves chewing on bones. Highly treat-motivated, she makes training an enjoyable experience. As a wonderful travel buddy, she rides well in the car and loves going for walks. Adjusting to home life since her move from Arkansas, Norma experienced a few accidents early on but has improved as her foster family learned her potty signals. Crating isn’t her favorite, and while she’ll sleep in one overnight (with a bit of protest), she prefers snuggling in bed with her humans. She may bark when crated while you're away, but she settles well if crated nearby. Norma gets along well with other dogs and often initiates play with her canine friends. However, she hasn't been tested with cats. With a prey drive, she loves chasing squirrels, so a secure leash or fenced yard is essential. This affectionate lady thrives on attention and occasionally tries to monopolize affection. While protective of her food and bones around other dogs, she allows people to take items from her with ease. Her foster family is working on building her confidence and sharing attention successfully. If you're looking for a sweet, playful dog with a big heart and plenty of personality, Norma is your girl!
