About Polar

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Polar is a beaming, 55 lb white terrier mix who has blossomed beautifully in his foster home over the past two years. Once a pup with food and toy trust issues, he quickly learned to feel safe and now wears a perpetual smile. Polar shares his days with an energetic canine buddy, and their joyful roughhousing fills the home with laughter. A fenced-in yard is ideal for him, as he loves to do zoomies—even if his weak back legs mean they’re quick sprints. Short walks bring him delight, though his curiosity for new scents can make him forget the leash. He coexists peacefully with the resident cat, respecting her boundaries, though he can be tempted to chase outdoor felines. Polar is sensitive, extremely smart, and responds well to gentle guidance. He knows commands like stay, wait, leave it, and, with a treat and the special command “trade,” he happily swaps out any contraband. At bedtime or when it’s time for his own space, Polar always listens. He’s a loving greeter after any absence, ready to brighten mornings and evenings alike. Polar would bring warmth and companionship to any forever family lucky enough to welcome him. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
