About Mikayla
Meet Mikayla, the sweet and gentle pup who has captured our hearts at Happy FurEver Rescue. At about 33 lbs, she’s a petite gem, estimated to be between 6 months and 1 year old. Rescued from a shelter in Fort Worth, Texas, she embodies a gentle spirit and a trusting nature. Mikayla is a beautiful blend of Australian Cattle Dog and Bull Terrier traits. While she resembles those breeds in her markings and expressions, she carries an elegance all her own. With her medium-length, soft coat, she’s impossible to resist petting. Though a tad timid, she is more insecure than scared, and she'll lean into your affection for reassurance. A perfect example of her trusting nature was her journey from the shelter; despite being nervous, she quickly felt at home with kind words and pets. As she blossoms, she enjoys the company of both people and other dogs, and we believe she would thrive in a home with kids. While we don't know how she feels about cats, her gentle demeanor suggests she would likely befriend them too. Smart and eager to learn, Mikayla loves curling up after light play or a leisurely walk. If you're looking for a quiet companion who excels at cuddling, Mikayla could be your match. Think you are the one? Submit an application!
