About Chewie
Meet Gorgeous Chewie! A wonderful blend of Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shepherd, Chewie is a striking one-year-old with a lovely white and cream coat and a heart full of affection. This 114-pound dog may have a look reminiscent of a Golden, but his true nature speaks to the guardian breeds. Chewie thrives in calm environments where he can feel secure and appreciated. Due to his strength and resource-guarding tendencies, he's not suited for homes with small children or small dogs, but he has plenty of love to offer to the right family. More than anything, Chewie desires companionship. He enjoys snuggling after playtime and delights in outdoor adventures. Long walks, exploring nature, and snowy days are what make him happiest. He loves water, whether itβs a sprinkling in the backyard or playing in the snow. Already used to being around horses at a farm while his family is away, heβs adaptable yet needs a confident handler who can guide him well. Chewie is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and house trained. Our rescue, along with Chewie, operates out of Texas, but we arrange transportation regularly for adopted pups to loving homes across the nation. Your new best friend is just one click away.
