About Kalei

Kalei is hard to miss—a 127-pound, lap-loving jokester who’s mastered the "lean of love" and doesn’t mind knocking you backwards for a hug. This Great Pyrenees and Shepherd mix is both goofball and gentle giant, happy to sprawl on her enormous orthopedic bed or romp on a walk through new trails. She loves other dogs, from rowdy playmates to bossy Chihuahuas, and delights in social playdates. Sharing her toys comes naturally, and you’ll quickly learn her requests for more treats—she’s crate-trained, knows her basics, and always hungry for a new trick (or snack). Kalei had a rough beginning, recovering from a car accident and undergoing a hip replacement. She’s now bionic, fully healed, and ready for a life packed with adventure, car rides, and affection. She'd really like a home with another dog for company and plenty of space for her to stretch out. If you’re after a loyal, drooly, oversized couch shadow, Kalei is ready to join your pack. Fun fact: Kalei is an Aries, so she brings a bold, loving spirit to every new adventure. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
