Although men may startle him, give him a few weeks and Gus will be your loyal sidekick. This playful boy enjoys activities like fetch, tug-of-war, and gnawing on his favorite antlers. He's happy to play, but when it’s couch time, he’s more than content to cuddle up and relax with you. Gus is well-versed in living with other pets; he’s friendly with cats and previously shared a home with another dog, Murphy, who is also available for adoption. They get along well without being bonded, making separate homes just fine. He's housetrained and knows the routine for outdoor breaks every 4 to 6 hours. Your gentle nudges will remind him when it's time to go outside, as he’ll come to the door to let you know. At night, he prefers the comfort of sleeping in his dog bed, but he wouldn’t mind sharing your bed either!
