Hi! My name is Bentley! I'm a 7-year old male tricolor beagle. I'm a very special guy & I need special home! I'm a very loving dog! I love to sleep & cuddle! I love to be petted! I'm also active! I like to walk! I want to sleep in bed with you at night! But I'm also pretty insecure. I really need to be close to my person. I'm housetrained, & I'm used to going outside 3-4 times a day. I'll scratch at the door or beg to let you know I need to go outside. I'm not crate trained & I don't like the crate at all. I get worked up when people try to leave me - even if you just want to leave the room. When you do that, I'll block your path & nip/bite at your clothing. I guess I have some issues ... but who doesn't? I really need a patient person who can work with me. I also don't like anyone messing with my food. I'm sure you understand ... I mean it's my food & you know how beagles are about their food. I'm fine when I go to the groomers, although I will howl when you turn the blow dryer on! I weigh about 30 lbs. I've been around other dogs & cats, & I've done well with them. Anyways, I really need a a very patient & loving home with a person who is willing to try to understand me & work with me.
