Hi! My name is Ziva, & I'm a beautiful 3.5 year old female beagle mix! I'm a very energetic girl! I love to play with other dogs! Playing tag is the best! I've lived with children as young as 5 years, but I've been around children even younger than that. I really enjoy playing tag with the children also! I'm a very affectionate & loving girl. But I'm also on the insecure side & I can be quite sensitive. I just really need a family who will show me love and kindness. I'm not great with cats. But I'm great with the other dogs in my foster home. I love to play with them! However, I can be protective of my crate when I'm in it & of my favorite spot when I need to get away from it all - but just with the other animals. I'm always great with people! I'm a beagle & so if I get loose, I'll run off. I'm housetrained. I will go to the door & give a little bark or pace until someone lets me outside. When I was younger, I was crated a lot & so now I'm just crated when absolutely necessary. I'm used to someone usually being home, & so it's hard to say how I would be if someone was out all day for work. I'm used to having a fenced in back yard & I just love it! I will howl at people passing by - after all, I am a beagle! I especially love women! I can be a little dismissive of men. LOL I'm up-to-date on vaccines & will be spayed before I'm adopted.
