Canelo is a spirited 6-month-old Chihuahua who finds himself in a better place after being surrendered from a home with too many pets. We couldn't resist his adorable face and brought him into our care, ready to find the loving family he deserves. This little guy, weighing in at around 7 lbs, brings entertainment wherever he goes. He's active, often busy self-entertaining with bones or toys, and loves to engage with the resident golden retriever. His crate training is impressive; he sleeps quietly at night and is nearly house trained, a rare feat for such a young pup. While Canelo is still learning about the world, consistent walks will help him gain confidence. He’s a curious pup who acts enthusiastically, so a home with older children would be best. Given his outgoing nature, he does well with other dogs and would thrive with a canine sibling. He enjoys basking in the sunshine and rolling in the grass, making him a perfect fit for both apartments and homes with yards. Canelo is ready to bring joy and companionship into your life.
