About Angie
Meet Angie! At just 2 years old, this tiny Chihuahua mix has already shown incredible resilience. Weighing only 9 pounds, she is the perfect little sidekick, always ready for companionship. Despite her small stature, she's filled with love and a desire for stability after her journey through several homes. Recently, she came to the shelter with her three puppies, and now she’s eager to find a family that will keep her for the long haul. Angie is incredibly sweet and friendly, getting along wonderfully with other dogs. Whether you’re taking a stroll or running errands, she loves being by your side. However, due to her past experiences, Angie does suffer from some separation anxiety. She needs a patient adopter who can help her transition to a stable home environment. Ideally, she should be with someone who is home often and understands her need for reassurance. Her foster has begun crate training to help Angie see her crate as a safe space, and her new family should continue this routine. This approach will help her manage her anxiety as she settles into her forever home. Currently located in Houston, TX, Angie’s adoption fee includes transport, so don’t let distance be a barrier to giving her the loving home she deserves. If you’re ready to provide Angie with the love and stability she craves, she can’t wait to meet you.
