Whiskey is a sweet, one-and-a-half-year-old female Basset Hound looking for a new home. While she can be a bit nervous around new people, she warms up once she feels comfortable. It seems she hasn't had much socialization, so new experiences can be a little overwhelming for her. She doesn't show much interest in other dogs, almost as if she’s unaware of them. Having come from a multi-dog household, she should fit well with well-mannered, non-dominant dogs. Whiskey can be a touch stubborn, especially when she’s reluctant to head back inside after walks. A simple change of direction usually helps redirect her. Whiskey needs an experienced owner who understands Basset quirks and is willing to help her become more comfortable in social settings.
