At about 7 months old, Denali showcases a fun-loving personality and charming quirks. He’s a mix of Basset Hound and a larger breed, like an Anatolian Shepherd. This combination results in a low-rider with a big heart, expected to weigh around 45-50 pounds as an adult. Denali enjoys playing fetch, chasing squeaky toys, and being involved in daily activities. More than anything, he loves being close to his humans. He thrives on companionship and prefers to follow you around, settling next to you in the evenings. Denali gets along well with dogs and children, although he can be fear-reactive due to his past experiences. He responds positively to corrections and has made great strides already. He would benefit from a home with mellow, respectful dogs and an adopter comfortable with positive training. His ideal home is for someone who understands larger working breeds, though experience isn’t a must. Patience and leadership will allow Denali to grow further in confidence and thrive as a devoted companion. Currently, Denali is fostered in Cincinnati, OH. His adoption fee is $275.00.
