She loves being close to her favorite people, whether curled up with you on the couch, soaking up the sun in the yard, or eagerly joining you on a hiking trail, where every interesting scent becomes part of her latest adventure. At about 35 pounds, Hattie is a wonderful medium-sized girl with a joyful personality that truly shines when given structure, affection, and opportunities to learn. She has completed formal obedience training and proudly knows many commands including sit, stay, leave it, and go chill. Training is a delight for her; she enjoys sessions and thrives with positive reinforcement, showcasing her impressive manners. Hattie rides well in the car, relaxes in her crate throughout the day, and has excellent house manners. She also has a remarkable knack for sensing when someone is feeling down, offering comforting cuddles quietly. Hattie requires a loving home where she can be the only pet. She has had some altercations with other dogs and isn't compatible with canine roommates. While calm around dogs during walks and training, she needs a dog-free household to truly thrive.
