Meet Maxwell, a handsome and sweet dog who is approximately five years old and weighs about 49 lbs. He arrived at Mostly Mutts after a puzzling stay at animal control, and he’s grateful for his new beginning. Maxwell's personality shines through; he is friendly and gentle, making him an ideal companion for someone looking for a loving friend. Recently placed in a foster home, more details about his behavior and quirks might come soon. When it comes to other animals, Maxwell met some dogs at Mostly Mutts but didn’t show much interest. Future introductions are likely, so if you have a dog, let’s see if they can be pals. His history with cats is unclear, and while he hasn't met children yet, it might be best to avoid toddlers for now, given his gentle nature. The volunteers describe him as an angel who is calm and cooperative during grooming. He communicates well, having mastered several commands, and he looks forward to further training opportunities, including free lifetime training classes offered by Mostly Mutts. He enjoys playing with toys, earning treats, and getting ear rubs.
