Meet Asher! At 6 years old and weighing 58 pounds, Asher is embarking on a delightful new chapter in his life. After spending his early years as a breeder dog, heās now embracing retirement and reveling in the joys of simply being a dog. With a heart full of love to give, Asher is ready to find the family he truly deserves. Asher is a big, goofy, gentle soul with soulful eyes that seem to see right into your heart. He loves people and has yet to meet a stranger. While he appreciates attention and affection, heās more of a ālet me hang out by your sideā kind of dog rather than a cuddle bug. In his foster home, Asher gets along well with other dogs. Heās generally happy to share his space, but he does have a preference for his favorite chew toys, making it clear when he needs a little alone time. As an easy houseguest, Asher is about 90% house trained and is non-destructive around the home. Though he marked a few times after being recently neutered, his behavior is expected to improve as he settles in. Heās also learning that the crate is a safe space, and with patience, he's steadily progressing in crate training. Whether he's joyfully trotting around a fenced yard or out for a walkāone of his favorite activitiesāAsher is the perfect companion for everyday adventures. He enjoys joining you during the day, then unwinding nearby in the evening.
