About Harlan
Harlan is a sweet and friendly companion looking for his forever home. At around 5 years old and approximately 14 lbs, he brings a cheerful spirit to anyone who meets him. Since arriving at Mostly Mutts, he has embraced the affection from volunteers and is now ready to find a family to call his own. Harlan shares an easy bond with other dogs, so if you have a furry friend at home, a meet and greet is a great idea. He hasn’t had the chance to interact with cats or children yet, so we recommend an introduction to see how he adjusts. Affectionate and trusting, Harlan loves being close to his favorite humans and enjoys cuddling up in warm laps. His adventures in the bath showed how brave he can be; you'll often catch him leaning in for kisses during moments of reassurance. Harlan is currently honing his skills in the Mostly Mutts University program, where he has mastered sit, stay, and come. His crate manners and potty routine are good too, as he adapts well to shelter life. Being a Dachshund mix, Harlan does have a long back, so it's important to avoid jumping on and off furniture to keep him safe. He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations, ready to bring his joyful energy to your home. Harlan is an affectionate little guy in need of a loving family, ideally one that can commit to his training and provide plenty of love and attention. Don't wait — come meet Harlan and see if he’s the furry family member you've been looking for! Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
