Meet Kennedy! This sweet little girl and her five siblings were just hours away from losing their lives. They were placed on the euthanasia list, but after receiving six extensions, we managed to save them just before the Fourth of July. Named after her brave mama, Liberty, each puppy carries a patriotic spirit. At just 4 weeks old, Kennedy is a precious Australian Shepherd and Cattle Dog mix, filled with the potential for countless adventures. Although she's still a tiny baby, she's growing stronger in foster care and will be ready to find her forever family in about 4-5 weeks, after her second round of puppy vaccines. Kennedy's mama, a sweet 45-pound cattle dog mix, has done an incredible job nurturing her puppies. It's clear that Kennedy has inherited her mother's gentle and loving nature. Right now, Kennedy is embracing all the joys of puppyhood—wobbly steps, playful tumbles with her siblings, and long, cozy naps together after busy days of exploration. Her personality is just beginning to shine, showcasing a curious and affectionate spirit who loves being close to her people. Kennedy's start in life hasn’t been easy, but now she's surrounded by love, full bellies, and comfy blankets in her foster home. Each day teaches her what it means to be cherished. Being so young, Kennedy will need a family ready for all the fun and challenges that come with raising a puppy. She will need guidance in crate training, house training, leash walking, and socialization. With patience and positive reinforcement, she has every chance of growing into an amazing lifelong companion.
