Meet Remington, a gentle giant looking for his forever home. He spent the first five years of his life with one family, but after a divorce, they turned to us to help find him a new home. When we picked him up, we were surprised to find that he weighs 102 pounds. While he's a bit hefty now, he's got a fantastic personality: loyal, cuddly, and always alert. His amazing foster family is dedicated to getting him to his ideal weight of around 60 pounds through a healthier diet and regular walks. Remington gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats in his foster home. He already knows basic commands like "sit" and "hug," showing himself to be well-behaved. However, since he's on a weight-loss plan, it's best to feed him separately for now, as he can be a bit protective of his food. This sweet boy adores children and previously had a special bond with a teenager, making him a perfect fit for a family. We want to find Remi a family that will help him reach his ideal weight and experience all the adventure that his second half of life has to offer. He's sensitive and has a ton of love to share.
