Meet Queenie, also known as Bee. This pint-sized pup, born around May 9, is a small breed, likely a mix of Chihuahua and Dachshund, weighing just 2 lbs. Despite her small stature, Queenie has a big personality. She’s fearless and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats. In her foster home, she's been playful with both big and small dogs, wrestling and nipping at their ankles to get them to join in the fun. She enjoys chasing balls and anything crinkly, proving she’s both friendly and intelligent—she’s already learning commands like ‘touch’ and ‘sit’. Potty training is going well; she’s great with pads and sleeps quietly after some initial fuss. As a tiny dog, she needs yard supervision, as even small animal fencing won’t keep her in—she’s quick! Queenie can be a bit chatty during playtime and would thrive with another dog in her forever home, especially someone who understands small breeds. She enjoys being held when she’s not busy running or playing fetch. She loves curling up in her donut bed for naps while keeping an eye on her surroundings. This little lady has her preferences, too; she’s selective about her food and water bowls, favoring white ones and needing her treats broken into smaller pieces. As she still has some chewing habits to learn, supervision and crate training are essential for her. Her ideal family would have time for cuddles, play, and an understanding of puppy needs.
