Meet Ethel, a stunning 2-year-old girl who weighs around 65 lbs, though she could use a little extra love in the form of weight. She resembles a dwarf Newfoundland with her big head and medium-length coat. Ethel is a sweetheart, currently living harmoniously with dogs and cats in her foster home. She tends to be playful and exhibits a little dominance with larger dogs but gets along beautifully with smaller dogs and feline friends. At adoption events, she lights up around children, making her the perfect potential "nanny dog." Just a heads-up, Ethel’s love comes with some drool, thanks to those big dog jowls — so get ready for some slobbery kisses! Ethel is currently undergoing heartworm treatment but can be adopted during this process. Her new family would need to bring her to three appointments over the next two months at Hall Co Animal Shelter, providing her with a calm environment while she recovers.
