This is 7 year old Mochi, and she came into the Rescue with her brother Bennett. Their owner was being evicted and had nowhere to go where he could bring his dogs. He tried to take them to his county shelter but was turned away after they told him they had no room for them. Instead, they gave him the name of a vet who would euthanize them! Social media pleas went out, and we wanted to help! Thankfully we were able to find a wonderful foster to take them both in, and now they are safe and ready to start their new lives with new families. We had Bennett and Mochi at our most recent adoption event, and they are both very sweet!! Mochi seems to be very attached to Bennett so we would love to keep them together if we can, but if we have to separate them to get them into loving forever homes we will. Mochi wasn't too thrilled with dogs other than Bennett at the event, but we know that she lived with other dogs as well before, so it may just have been the stressful situation she is in now, and all the confusion she must have.
