About Daisy
Introducing Daisy! Curious, playful, and loving, Daisy has a sensitive side that makes her truly special. Initially shy, she quickly warms up and becomes an affectionate companion once she feels secure. Daisy has a zest for life, enjoying car rides and new adventures. When joy overflows, she canโt resist giving a gentle โjumping hug.โ This sweet girl needs stability and reassurance, thriving best in a calm environment. While she enjoys meeting new people, she prefers gentle introductions. Together with older kids who can respect her boundaries, sheโll flourish as the only dog in a forever home. Although she may show indifference to other dogs, she does not tolerate aggression. Sheโs made fast friends with the cats in her foster home and is even curious about chickens. Daisy loves playtime, snuggles, and being close to her humans. Her dislikes include loud noises and sudden movements. Though sheโs house trained and crate-trained, she may need a consistent bathroom schedule to avoid accidents. She knows basic commands and walks well on a no-pull harness. Daisy has food allergies, requiring a special fish-based diet, and she has a cherry eye that needs gentle cleaning. Her forever home should be patient and understanding as she adjusts. Fun Fact: Daisy has claimed the basement couch in her foster home as her personal retreat where she'll happily snooze for hours, toys surrounding her, as long as she knows her person is nearby. If you believe Daisy would be a wonderful addition to your family, reach out to start the process.
