About Woody

Meet Woody! This big, goofy Great Dane has a playful spirit and an abundance of love to share. Woody is curious, easygoing, and deeply loyal, making it his mission to enjoy life to the fullest every day. Woody is great with both adults and children, having experience with kids as young as 3 years old. He thrives in the company of other dogs, so he'd be happiest in a home with another playful canine companion. While his experience with cats is unknown, slow introductions will help if there are any in his forever home. This sweet boy enjoys going for walks, playing with stuffed toys, and snuggling up with his family. Woody is crate trained, housebroken, and generally non-destructive when left alone. He’s working on his “sit” and “stay” commands, but keep an eye on him—curious Danes often find countertops and garbage cans irresistible. Woody may have accidents if left alone for longer than 8–9 hours, so planning around his potty needs is essential. In terms of his ideal forever home, Woody would do best with a fenced yard to run around and play in. He needs an active family that can provide regular walks and playtime, as he is not suited for apartment living. His infectious love for stuffed toys will bring endless joy to his new family. Fun fact: Woody turns a simple blanket and toy into the ultimate entertainment, shaking and carrying them around like a champion! If you feel Woody could be the perfect addition to your family, reach out to start the process!
