Danny is a 100-pound Great Dane mix looking for an active home with room to roam and people who appreciate his spirit. At 4 to 5 years old, he has finished his heartworm treatment (as of October 2024) and is ready for a new chapter. Early on, Danny can be reserved, but once he trusts you, he opens up as a devoted, affectionate companion. He’s energetic and loves his walks—he’d rather be moving with you than lounging all day. Training is in progress: Danny already has "sit" and "down" down pat and does best with positive reinforcement and treats. He requires a secure yard with supervision, since he’s proven capable of scaling a 6-foot privacy fence when adventure calls. Danny does well with other dogs and would also enjoy being a solo dog who soaks up all your attention. He’s a quiet, attentive boy who thrives on connection and having clear guidance.
