He interacts well with other dogs of various sizes, although he would do just fine as an only pet. While he hasn't officially met cats, his temperament suggests he would likely adapt well. He enjoys the company of children, showing gentleness and playfulness, provided they give him some space at first. In the car, Buckwheat is a great passenger and handles walks well on a leash.
