About Buddy
Buddy is eagerly awaiting his second chance at a forever home. Life threw him a curveball when his new family faced unexpected challenges, leaving him once again searching for love. This sweet 5-year-old beagle has always been a devoted companion, craving closeness to his people. With a bright personality, Buddy thrives on exercise, attention, and mental stimulation. He can get a bit anxious when left alone and might chew on items if he's stressed. His enthusiastic beagle voice ensures he is heard when he wants to express himself. Buddy is looking for a family where someone is home most of the time. He will benefit from a patient adopter ready to help him build confidence and manage his separation anxiety. He enjoys walks, playtime, and burning off energy. Older children will suit him best, as his lively zoomies could unintentionally knock over little ones. He is not fond of cats and prefers a calm introduction to other dogs, having had a difficult experience in the past. Buddy has a manageable condition known as beagle pain syndrome, where he occasionally experiences joint discomfort. Medication helps him tremendously, and he is not expected to need it frequently. Currently, Buddy is in boarding but is ready to be part of a loving home that provides structure and reassurance. Could he be the perfect addition to your family?
