About Magpie
Magpie is a small Chihuahua mix looking for a special place to call home. She’s about 5 years old and weighs around 9.5 lbs. Having arrived from Puerto Rico, she’s going through a big transition, so a loving and patient adopter is essential. Magpie gets along well with other dogs, making her a great fit for a home with a resident pup or where she can socialize with others. However, she is not recommended for homes with children under 12 due to her sensitivity to noise and sudden movements. Currently residing at Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus, she's eager to make her way to the DC area for adoption. Magpie thrives on walks, dog parks, and meeting new friends—she just needs a bit of time to adjust to her new surroundings and to feel safe. Her loyal and affectionate nature will soon shine through in the right environment. If you feel that you could be the one to offer her the love and stability she seeks, she’s ready to bond and make memories with you. What do you say? Can you welcome this sweet girl into your life?
