About Darling Baby URGENT

Darling Baby is urgent and needs your help! This 1-year-old Shepherd mix is recovering from an upper respiratory infection and is in need of a safe home as soon as possible. She’s currently at the Kern County Animal Services in Bakersfield and has been there since June 27, 2026. This gentle girl is a tricolor beauty with a short coat. Darling Baby is still adjusting to her surroundings, but she’s ready to start anew in a loving home. Due to high demand and limited space, time is of the essence. The Companion Animal Protection Society (CAPS) is partnering with the shelter to help find homes for pets at risk. They currently house over 300 dogs, so providing Darling Baby with a loving environment is critical. If you’re considering fostering or adopting, please reach out to CAPS directly using their contact form. They are unable to answer phone calls due to understaffing, so your patience is appreciated. Don’t wait—Darling Baby is counting on you!
