Rescued from the southwest after her previous owner became too busy for her, Bitsy is brimming with joyful energy and social charm. She meets every new person, dog, and experience with an enthusiastic tail wag and a genuine curiosity that wins hearts on every walk. Bitsy embodies big dog confidence in her tiny frame. She thrives on social interactions, loving all people and dogs alike. While she has a medium-to-high energy level, she also knows how to unwind — you’ll find her happily snuggled up in her dog bed when it’s downtime. In just under 24 hours, she learned to sit and is eagerly picking up new tricks, thanks to her food motivation and eagerness to please. As a self-appointed guard dog, she takes her role seriously, showcasing her adorable bravery despite her small size. This little velcro dog likes to stay close to her humans, following them around and loving to be held like a baby. She’s making great progress on potty training, particularly with frequent walks. Bitsy would do well in a moderate-to-active home with someone committed to helping her thrive — whether it’s with a canine sibling or as the only pet, she adapts beautifully.
