About Sunny
Sunny is a brave little Chihuahua who found his way to safety after being part of a group left to fend for themselves. Recently rescued just before the fireworks began, he is gradually warming up to people and enjoys gentle pets and treats from your hand. Although he still needs a blanket for comfort when picked up, he’s making progress in showing affection and trust. This little guy shines brightest when he’s around someone patient who values dedication and is willing to help him blossom into his true self. He’s crate trained and prefers to go outside for bathroom breaks. Sunny requires slow introductions to other dogs, but he’s absolutely fine with cats. His estimated age is around 5 to 6 years and he weighs about 8 pounds. Rescue dogs like him ask for a bit of understanding and space, but in return, they offer an abundance of love.
