About Cooper Arriving D

Cooper is a sweet, low-energy boy who thrives when curled up in a soft blanket beside his favorite person. Though he loves his entire family, he forms a special bond with one human, seeking love and companionship above all. He's food motivated and enjoys bones and treats, often heading into his crate happily with a little bribe. With a friendly disposition towards dogs, Cooper has yet to meet any cats. A mild resource guarding tendency means he'd thrive with a family that understands how to nurture his confidence and trust. Cooper has mastered his basic training and has already learned to use the doggy door for his business. He's also an expert leash walker, and you can often find him napping under the covers after a fun outing. If you seek a loyal cuddle buddy with a gentle spirit, Cooper could be your perfect match. Cooper is from Texas and will arrive in Minnesota on 7/25/2026. He will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN, between 9 AM and noon on that date. Please make arrangements accordingly, as no pickups can occur outside this time. Cooper is part of Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Once he arrives, he may require additional veterinary care, which will need to be managed by his foster. Ready to make Cooper a part of your family?
