Lexi & Rex are 6-month-old mixed breed pups eager to find their forever homes. Lexi weighs about 15 lbs while Rex is around 13 lbs. They’re not expected to grow much bigger. These affectionate and spunky pups might come off as reserved at first, but once comfortable, they offer plenty of kisses. A dash of chihuahua seems to be in their mix, as they may tremble during new introductions, though it quickly fades. They thrive in their fenced backyard, joyfully chasing each other before settling down for naps indoors. Living harmoniously with other dogs and a resident cat in their foster home, you might spot the cat soaking up the sun while Lexi and Rex entertain themselves. These pups adore children and had a blast at a recent adoption event surrounded by little ones. They are cuddly and not nippy at all. Their house training is progressing well, though they haven’t been crate trained due to having their own room in foster care. They adjust well to being crated during transport to events. Both pups need a family ready for the commitment of training, including continued housebreaking and socialization. Lexi and Rex are both microchipped and have been spayed and neutered. They’ve also received all age-appropriate vaccinations.
