About Colette
Meet Colette, a delightful little Papillon looking for a loving home. She’s about 4 years old and weighs just over 7 pounds. Having faced some challenges early in life, Colette still needs a patient family that can help her learn to trust. She adores toys—like, really adores them—and treats are a close second. In her foster home, she gets along well with both dogs and cats, but she prefers smaller companions, so no pups over 20 pounds, please. Colette may not yet enjoy being held or petted, but she’s a sweet girl who thrives on being close to her people. She’s also quite smart, having picked up the 'sit' command by observing her canine housemates. While she loves her fenced yard, Colette requires a home with a secure fence and an experienced adopter who understands how to support fearful dogs. Though she’s making great strides in her house training, she’ll need a bit of encouragement along the way. Her crate is her safe haven, where she often keeps her favorite toys. Colette is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. If you're ready to give her the nurturing environment she needs to bloom, this happy little companion would love to meet you!
