About Brody
Brody is a giant teddy bear! This sweet, calm, and friendly shepherd mix was rescued from a life on a chain, but his sunny disposition shines through. With a charming smile that seems to say, 'hey, I'm a friendly guy - will you take me home?', Brody is sure to win you over. Laid back and relaxed, Brody enjoys chilling out but is also smart and trainable. He’s housebroken and has been working with a professional trainer, making great strides with his commands and leash walking. Brody is sociable, having done wonderfully at recent adoption events, where he loved meeting people and remained neutral around other dogs. He has an excellent temperament, especially with children, although he sometimes forgets his size at 85 pounds! At about four and a half years old, Brody is independent yet loves to be near you, happily following you from room to room. He enjoys leisurely walks and delights in outdoor scents. His foster mom praises his solid temperament and say he is very food motivated, making training a bit easier. If Brody sounds like the companion for you, don’t hesitate!
