About Thumper in CO
Meet Thumper, a sweet 4-year-old Boston Terrier. Weighing in at 25.6 pounds, he’s currently on his way to shedding a few extra pounds. Thumper was released from a busy environment a year ago and is now enjoying a calmer space in foster care in Longmont, CO. He can be a bit skittish, especially with loud sounds or sudden movements, and tends to freeze in those moments, but he’s gradually becoming more comfortable in his new home. Thumper has a gentle demeanor and loves to see his humans around—especially when they enter the room. Although he gets anxious when left alone, he’s learning that his family will return. Thumper does well with his foster siblings and prefers female dogs. While he's not quite into play yet, he enjoys chewing and rolling on his toys. He would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time since he’s still working on building his confidence. This little guy is not suited for families with cats or young children at this point. Thumper is housetrained and leash-trained. He’s car-friendly, but be prepared for some drooling during rides. After arriving with an ear infection, he has completed treatment and is ready for a loving forever home.
