Chief
AvailableChief is a medium, neutered male dog with a short coat in red and white. Though he's a senior, he remains spirited and vaccinated. He's in Plainfield, NJ, and is looking for a loving home where he can thrive, preferably as the only pet in a quieter environment.
About Chief
Chief has a heart full of resilience and joy despite a past that hasn’t always been kind. He’s been shuffled around too often, getting labeled as too much or not enough. After finally being surrendered to the shelter, he was given a new name to symbolize a fresh start. Now, this senior dog sports a charming gray face that speaks to his experiences, but don’t let that fool you—he still has plenty of energy. Chief loves to chase tennis balls and sing his little songs, particularly when food is involved. He dreams of finding a forever family who will cherish him as he deserves, ideally in a home with no other pets and children aged twelve and up. This old soul deserves a chance at the happiness he's longed for. Will you be the one to give him a safe and loving home?
