About Daisy
Daisy is a lively 15-month-old black and tan female Doberman who weighs 73 pounds. With natural ears and a docked tail, this young lady quickly adapted to her new environment and has shown remarkable spirit since arriving at the rescue, unbothered by her past circumstances. Although she’s familiar with commands like sit, down, and come, there are moments when she chooses to be a bit rebellious, which we’re working to manage together. Car rides aren’t her favorite, but she behaves quite well when necessary. Daisy enjoys her walks, eager to explore and sniff around, though her prey drive means she might chase after wildlife in the yard. A fenced-in area would be ideal for her to romp around safely. She loves to play fetch with squeaky balls or jolly balls and has a tendency to collect items around the house, so be ready to keep an eye on her. House and crate-trained, Daisy gets a bit anxious when left alone but mostly relaxes until her people return. She's affectionate and will curl up beside you while you watch TV, thriving on companionship. With patience and ongoing training, she’s going to make a great addition to a loving home. Daisy is currently being fostered in Virginia and is ready for her forever family. DAR&E adopts to MD, VA, DC, DE, eastern WV, and southern PA.
