About Samuel Arriving D

Samuel is a delightful, happy-go-lucky boy ready for his next adventure. He’s friendly and affectionate, thriving on human companionship. Samuel gets along well with other dogs, though he can be a bit timid around larger, more assertive breeds. He’s quite the playful character, enjoying games of tug-of-war, energetic chases in the yard, and showcasing his goofy wrestling skills. Toys are a big hit for him too, especially chew toys. You'll often find him quietly observing squirrels, as it’s one of his favored pastimes. Samuel adapts well, whether your lifestyle is active or more laid-back. His journey hasn’t been easy. Samuel was found in Texas, battling mange and suffering from fleas and ticks, but with plenty of care, he’s on the road to recovery and ready for a loving home. Samuel will arrive in Minnesota on July 11, 2026. You'll need to pick him up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN, between 9 am and noon. Plan accordingly, as pickups outside of this time will not be accommodated. Since Samuel hasn’t arrived yet, he’s available through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program, which means you get to help pave his way to a loving home. Once settled, he may need further veterinary attention from Ruff Start’s veterinary suite in Princeton, and as a foster, you’ll be responsible for his transport to vet appointments. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
